cantcountthereasons - Thank you! The spamming the cast thing is infuriating. Luckly it doesn’t seem to be having much traction. I’ve only seen a couple people tweet about it. Everyone else is against it.
mlelucky - I don’t have much hope for Dan getting a bigger role within the show now. Sony has made their decision and unfortunately I don’t think there is much we can do. In saying that however, I don’t want to deter people from letting Sony know how much the show and Dan mean to us. But we need to do it nicely. We didn’t the get show back from hiatus by being horrible. We did by tweeting, singing, flash mobs and so much more. We just need show everyone how much we love Dan and the show.
Anon - Not only is it unrealistic for the cast member to leave the show, it’s pretty much impossible because of their contracts.

Spamming the cast is just the worst thing I’ve ever heard. Everyone needs to think about how bad they feel and then times that by ten for the cast. This is a horrible situation for them. Asking them to leave is just the worst possible thing to do to them right now.
I’m glad I’m not the only that feels this way. I feel a little bit alone in not thinking it’s the end of the world.
I mean lbr Community is kinda my life haha. But I am trying to rational about the situation.
Honestly, no I don’t think so. There is a petition going around and a facebook group as well. But I mean Sony clearly isn’t paying attention to what the fans.
This is how feel. I haven’t said much about what’s happening mainly because I don’t even know what to say. But honestly it makes me really sad to think that people might boycott the show and not watch next year.
I’ve been seeing #ripcommunity hashtags around that honestly just fills me with rage. Yes I am super sad that Dan is not going to be a part of Community anymore, it’s his baby and it won’t be the same. However, there are amazing writers, cast and crew that is still left. They put as much work in as Dan and help make the show what it is that we see every week.
Dan is an amazing show runner and I take comfort in the fact that he is so amazing that his vision and knowledge will be left behind with the people that are still with the show.
I want Community to go on as long as possible and you will never see me say the show is dead until it actually is.
